Bearings are used for fan motors

Bearings are critical components in motor rotating systems. They support the motor rotor, reduce friction loss between the shaft and end cover, restrict radial and axial displacement of the rotor, and ensure stable concentric operation of the rotor. According to differences in size, rotating speed, load, precision and working conditions, motors are fitted with various bearing types: deep groove ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings, needle roller bearings, thin-walled equal-section bearings, cross roller bearings, one-way clutch bearings, etc. They are widely used in servo motors, stepper motors, gear motors, harmonic motors, hollow rotary motors, spindle motors, micro motors and so on.

Application Features

1. Reduce friction loss: Rolling friction replaces sliding friction to cut heat generation, improve motor operating efficiency and lower energy consumption.

2. Vibration and noise control: High-precision bearings minimize rotor runout, suppress vibration during high-speed rotation and meet requirements for low-noise motors.

3. Positioning & support: Limit radial movement of the rotor. Angular contact / four-point contact bearings can bear combined radial and axial loads simultaneously.

4. Wide speed range adaptation: Matching bearing structures available for low-speed high-torque gear motors as well as high-speed spindle motors.

5. Optional sealing protection: Double rubber sealed bearings prevent dust and moisture ingress, protect grease and extend maintenance intervals.
